このストレートパーマの定義は
髪の毛を出来るだけ綺麗に洗浄する。（水溶性（※1）、疎水性（※2）、の汚れと、イオン交換（※3）、包摂（※4）により汚れを取り除きます）

溶媒和（※5）しやすいコロイドの緩衝液（※6）を使って、反応場（※15）に薬剤を届けて、効率的な還元（※7）及び酸化（※8）をさせ、その収率（※9）を最大を目指す施術です。

有機化学合成、半導体の製造と考え方は同じです。科学は思い込みではうまく行きません。理屈だけで出来たかと言うとそうでもありません。経験の蓄積で出来ています。

美容師さんたちが、理屈通りうまく行くかを、実験ノートに書きながら作り上げていきました。体感に出るぐらい二族元素（※11）の影響があるのか、反応に影響があるのか、算出した物質量で等量か、キレートが機能するpH（※12）だと問題が出てくるか、と美容師さんから結果を毎日頂いて、理屈と整合性があるか思案しながらやっていきました。

やっているうちに、これは子どものときに観た、電子立国という番組そのものではないかと思いました。その番組内では、まず理論があって、理論通りモノが出来始めて、それから量産ですよね。そうなると、歩留まり（※16）との戦いが始まります。

その歩留まりを上げた功労者の中には、主婦もおりました。こうじゃないか、ああじゃないかと、仮説を立てて、工夫をして、うまく行っているときと言っていない時は、何が起こっているのか突き止めていました。

面白い事に、セオリーRストレートの開発を手伝ってくれた美容師さんは、主婦でした。一族元素（※10）、二族元素（※11）の性質、対数関数とpH（※12）の定義、π結合（※13）、など理解していって、抽象的に何をしているのかを把握されていました。

その方は、自称化学が詳しい美容師さんに色々言われて、泣いていた時もありました。話を聴くと、私もさっぱりわからない内容でした。裸の王様みたいに、ものすごく立派な服をお召しになられている！と言わないと、恥をかく場面だったようです。

「これは理解出来たら、病院に行かなければいけませんよ！理解できないなら、あなたの頭は正常です良かったですね！」と言いました。

化学系大企業の先輩に、この美容師さんのやっている事を話しました。すると「そりゃそうだ」と言いました。誰が聞いたってわかります。いかに、還元酸化の収率（※9）を上げるかが勝負なだけです。

このストレートパーマは、当然ですが、仕上がりは、今の髪の毛の状態に依存します。つまり、色々な種類の汚れと、コルテックスの残存量に、依存します。

どんな髪の毛でも、結果を出さなければいけないと、脅してくる講師の先生がいるそうですが、そういうのはポジショントークなので、無視しておけば大丈夫です。ビフォーアフターで、その時だけ綺麗にする手品は出来ますが、帰ってから維持出来ません。

ですから、新規の場合は、最初のストレートが、一番最悪な仕上がりです。満足頂いても、その時が一番悪い仕上がりです。二回目のストレートのときは、結構マシになっています。三回目のときは、そういう事かと確信します。

還元して酸化された収率（※9）が高いほど、良く伸びます。そして長持ちします。傷みません。当たり前な事です。その当たり前な事を、残酷なほど突き詰めていくのがセオリーRストレートです。

スマートフォンに入っている、半導体を疑った事はあるでしょうか？ちゃんと機能しているわけですから、そういう概念も無いと思います。長持ちするストレートパーマは、そのような工業的な要素があります。

あれこれ言われても、だって、長持ちしているんだもの、繰り返していくと綺麗になっているんだもの、記録があります。という事になります。

Tracking Straight Perm Results

This is the website of a salon that has adopted the Theory-R Straight technique.

The salon itself chose to name the service Theory-R Straight.

Definition of the Theory-R Straight Perm

Clean the hair as thoroughly as possible.
Remove all water-soluble and oil-soluble contaminants, as well as substances bound through ion exchange or inclusion complexes.
Use a solvated, colloidal buffer to create a proper reaction environment.
This delivers the agent efficiently into the cortex and allows both the reduction and oxidation reactions to proceed at maximum yield.

The concept is identical to organic synthesis and semiconductor manufacturing.
Science does not respond to assumptions or wishful thinking.
And yet, theory alone doesn’t complete the job—accumulated experience does.

The hairstylists involved kept experimental notebooks, testing whether the theory matched real hair. They recorded whether Group 2 elements affected the reaction enough to be felt by the client, whether the amounts were stoichiometrically correct, whether chelation behaved differently depending on pH, and so on. Every day they sent results, and together we checked whether the data aligned with chemical logic.

At some point, we realized:
“This is exactly like that old TV program Electronic Nation I watched as a child.”
In that show, theory comes first, then prototypes, and finally mass production. And mass production always comes with one enemy: yield loss.

Interestingly, some of the people who improved yield in semiconductor factories were housewives. They hypothesized, tinkered, and figured out what exactly was happening when the process succeeded—or failed.

The hairstylist who helped develop Theory-R Straight was also a housewife.

and the less damage occurs.
